Gas Safety Certificates
All gas appliances and flues need undergo a yearly gas safety inspection, which may only be done by a Gas Safe registered engineer, for the protection of the occupants. Once everything has been checked, you will receive a Landlord Gas Safety Record or Gas Safety certificate outlining all the work done.
According to the legislation, you must give your present renters a copy of your gas safety check within 28 days following the inspection or, in the case of new tenants, as away after the tenancy begins.
