In both cases the team managing things have been very professional, quick but thorough, and clear re what was to be done. Particular thanks to James, Ronan, and Nick. Their onsite engineer was polite, friendly and punctual. He fixed the problem quickly and gave me some basic advice on what to look out for to help troubleshoot future problems. Inspection

The engineer will inspect the main parts of the system, including the manifold, pipework, thermostats, controls and other key components, to make sure everything is operating as it should.

Pressure and Leak Check

The engineer will check the system pressure and look for any signs of leaks or loss of pressure that could affect efficiency or long term performance.

Flow and Return Temperatures

The engineer will measure the flow and return temperatures to make sure heat is circulating properly through the system and that performance is as efficient as possible.

Pump Inspection

The engineer will inspect the pump and check for signs of wear, poor circulation or reduced performance.

Air Bleeding

Any trapped air within the system can affect circulation and heating performance. The engineer will bleed the system where needed to help maintain proper operation.

Thermostat and Controls

The thermostats and controls will be checked and tested to make sure they are responding correctly and regulating temperatures accurately.

Boiler Inspection

If your underfloor heating is connected to a boiler, the engineer will inspect the relevant parts of the setup to make sure the system is working efficiently and supporting the underfloor heating correctly.

Recommendations

If the engineer identifies wear, inefficiencies or areas that need attention, they will explain the next steps clearly. This may include maintenance advice, system improvements or recommended remedial work.
