Leaking Underlying Pipes

Blocked Gas Valve

Faulty Thermopile/Thermocouple

New gas fireplaces use thermopiles, while older models used thermocouples to produce the necessary power for it to ignite. It can also be used as a temperature sensor. Your gas fire won’t light if the thermopile malfunctions since it might not be properly connected or secured. You must ensure that all the wires, screws, and tubing are connected correctly in order to resolve this problem.

Issues with the Burner

The circuitry for the gas fireplace includes voltage levels, a cavity for the pilot light, and a group of burner jets. A dirty pilot cavity or the improper thermostat settings may be the only causes of a non-working burner.
